Founder and Principal

Alex Denney is the Founder and Principal Adviser at Prime Prosperity, where he works with families and business owners to bring clarity, confidence, and intention to their financial lives.

His career began in 2018 after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Economics. Early in his journey, Alex saw how powerful it can be when someone has a trusted guide who listens, simplifies complex decisions, and walks alongside them through every stage of their financial life.

This belief inspired him to launch Prime Prosperity LLC in 2023, centered on a mission to help people pursue prosperity with purpose and peace of mind.

Alex values structure and thoughtful growth. He is always refining the client experience at Prime Prosperity so it feels organized, proactive, and personal. His focus is to create an environment where clients feel cared for and supported at every step, from the first conversation to long term planning relationships.

Giving back to his community is also an important part of Alex’s life. He has served on the Board of his local alumni chapter, the Texas Exes, and is a past president of the chapter. Contributing his time and leadership is a meaningful expression of gratitude for the impact his alma mater has had on his life.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys exploring the restaurant scenes in San Antonio and Austin, staying active in the gym, and getting outdoors with his wife, Shannon. Their two dogs often join them on hikes and weekend adventures. Alex is also an enthusiastic supporter of the Vikings, Spurs, and Texas Longhorns.
Most recently, Alex has found deep joy in his new role as a father, which has brought fresh perspective and purpose to the work he does every day.
